After speaking to Al Bliss, he told me of the crush he had on my Aunt Phil when he was in High School. Here are the two photo's he sent me which he carried with him while fighting in the Pacific Theater. 
Phil (short for Philamena) Meli is the sister of Tom Meli who served during the Korean War.
